Roux Beauté Roussanne

Yangarra Estate Roux Beauté Roussanne is grown on the weathered sand and ironstone soils of the estate vineyard in Blewitt Springs at the northern edge of McLaren Vale.

Some of the fruit is destemmed, crushed and filled to 675 litre ceramic eggs. This parcel ferments on skins and remains on skins for several months. Only the free run portion of the wine is retained.

The remaining fruit is whole bunch basket pressed into ceramic eggs and fermented without skins. The final blend comprises almost equal portions of both parcels.

Deep yellow, Yangarra Estate Roux Beauté Roussanne is a generous, textural wine with ripe citrus and stone fruit flavours with delicate tannins. Cellaring potential is five years.
